Welcome to the Amber Elite Competition Team

The Amber Elite Competition Team is our award-winning program where talented dancers are challenged and nurtured to reach their full potential. As part of this prestigious team, dancers travel regionally and nationally to compete and attend world-renowned conventions and competitions each month. With rigorous training and creative choreography, team members are continuously tested in both physical and mental aspects, building not only their skills but also teamwork and resilience.

Team Overview and Policies

• Joining the competitive program requires enrollment as an Amber Academy student. Dancers are typically selected through summer auditions; however, those who miss the auditions can schedule a private evaluation by emailing [email protected]. Successful candidates will be notified via email.
• As a part of the competitive company, members adhere to the Amber Academy Handbook, contract, and studio policies. The curriculum is extensive and more intensive than regular studio classes, demanding a greater time and financial commitment. All rehearsals, competitions, and related events are mandatory.
• Notice for absences or lateness is required 24 hours in advance, barring extraordinary circumstances. Medical absences require a doctor’s notice.

Registration & Tuition

Amber Academy offers different pricing and class options to accommodate both competitive and non-competitive students:

• Amber Competitive Academy (Full Curriculum & Company Classes): $150 per month
• Amber Academy Curriculum Only (Non-Competitive Students): $100 per month
• Private Coaching: $50 per hour (Please email [email protected] to schedule.)
• Annual Registration Fee: One-time annual fee of $85
• End of the Year Academy Gala Fee (“Recital”): $100 per dancer
• 2025 Tickets: $45 per person
